It is not needed to oil the Pump sock (filter).
It is enough when you rotate or shift the pump sock a little to face a clean piece of filter area and it will protect your pump against dirt and dust.
The pump sock is available in many cllors. Altough it is not possible to pre order a collor.
The choice of the pump sock collor is completely randon choosen by our stock/packages personal.
If nessesary you can change the collor of the pump sock into an other collor by washing it in textile paint. Please take note of the washing regulations inside the pump sock.
